Kirin Single Grain 25yo small batch 46% ABV and Single Malt 17yo small batch 46% ABV at Gotemba distillery. It is very rare grain which was distilled in kettle pot and matured over quarter century. Also famous to be awarded WWA 2016 world best grain. Oak fragrance and mixed fruit note comes first but palate is thick sweet honey and mellow banana. Cannot tell that it is only made from grains. Must try that one at Fuji Gotemba Distillery…!
