Subaru was released in 1994 to celebrate 100 years of Mr. Taketsuru’s birth and 60 years of his company, Nikka. It wad sold only in Hokkaido, where Yoichi distillery located, to show Nikka’s application to the local supporters.
Mild apple note with a hint of old cask, mellow but smoky palate. Middle finish with lavender note. Very elegant but Yoichi strength are hidden under the mildness.
